Title: Understanding the Human Being: The Importance of the First Three Years of Life
Author: Silvana Quattrocchi Montanaro, M.D.

Book Review
Written by a medical doctor with deep expertise in Montessori education, this book provides an insightful overview of infant and toddler development from a medical and Montessori perspective. It explains what is happening developmentally during the critical first three years of life, and what parents and caregivers can do to support healthy physical, emotional, and cognitive growth. A highly recommended read for expecting parents and those with very young children.

Hello my name is Amy and I am in search of more montessori audio books! I have only been able to find The Montessori Method and listening to it be read in my earphones in my relaxed state of jogging I was able to understand and embrace my new love for the montessori method not like when I tried to read it on paperback. I am a new teacher at a montessori house and I would love to find any montessori material on audio book! Is it possible?
Thank you very much,
Amy
I’m currently reading this book for Infant/Toddler Montessori and I love it. I think it’s easy to read and understand. The author does a good job of explaining the importance of each experience. I’m learning more about child development from this book then I did in my undergrad work for Child Development!
